The Game Thinks Machine Gun Kelly Won Eminem Beef

As the world awaits Eminem’s response to Nick Cannon’s recent lyrical attacks, The Game recently offered his thoughts on a previous rap beef the Detroit rhymer was engaged in with Machine Gun Kelly last year.

In a Thursday (Dec. 12) interview with The Cruz Show on Los Angeles’ Real 92.3, the Compton rapper believed that MGK won that rap feud against Slim Shady. “Em did what I expected Em to do, but nothing to catch up to where hip-hop is today,” he explained. “I feel like Machine Gun Kelly really gave his all, like a young, hungry dude did. Eminem was Eminem—it was great. Before I heard Machine Gun Kelly, I was like, ‘Oh Eminem.’”

“I know people will probably hate me for this, but I really don’t really give a fuck about that,” he continued. “It’s was like one of those moments you have two dudes and about announced who’s the winner and they hold Machine Gun Kelly’s hands up and Eminem’s like, “No fucking way” and everybody’s like, “Boo!”

Last August, Em released his surprise album Kamikaze, where he dissed MGK and other rappers on the song “Not Alike.” In response, MGK delivered his abrasive Em diss track “Rap Devil.” This led Em to respond with his own retort, “Kill Shot.”

The Game, who dropped his Born 2 Rap album on Black Friday (Nov. 29), added that he enjoyed the Eminem-MGK rap feud and would like to see more lyrical battles in rap that doesn’t come to fights or guns. “If it’s only hip-hop, then let’s have some fun,” he said.
