Post Malone is apparently one big tipper.
According to a news item published on la.eater.com on Tuesday (Nov. 19), Posty grabbed a bite to eat at the legendary Mel’s Drive-In on Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles on Monday morning. After he was done eating, the diamond-selling artist left a $1,000 tip for the staff.
Just as amazingly, the Hollywood’s Bleeding rapper showed up to the restaurant wearing a blue kilt that matched his Dallas Cowboys football jersey (he’s a Cowboys fan). The outlet reports that Post was chatty with the patrons and snapped photos with fans.
The owner of Mel Drive-In’s Instagram page shared photos of Post Malone taking pics with fans at the restaurant. “Always great having our friend @postmalone in for breakfast! Awesome music and a great guy!” reads the caption.
Post Malone was in Los Angeles for a series of concerts at the legendary Forum venue this week as part of his Runaway Tour. The rapper recently announced a second leg of the tour in 2020. The trek will launch on Feb. 4 in Omaha, Neb. before wrapping up Salt Lake City, Utah on March 21. Tickets for the second leg of the tour will go on sale this Friday (Nov. 22).
In the meantime, Posty is celebrating the fact that Hollywood’s Bleeding recently became the longest No. 1 album in 2019. The LP, which features rap cameos from Swae Lee, Young Thug, DaBaby, Future, Lil Baby, Travis Scott and Meek Mill, is also the biggest-selling album of the year.
